Punishes for sins but Forgives as well and Rewards Good Deeds

Like the folk of Pharaoh and those before them; they disbelieved Our revelations, so Allah seized them for their sins; and Allah is Severe in requiting (evil). (3:11)

Know that Allah is Severe in requiting (evil) and that Allah is (also) Forgiving, Merciful. (5:98)

And they will not heed (admonition) unless Allah wills (it). He (alone) is Worthy to be feared and Worthy to forgive. (74:56)

The Forgiver of sin, the Acceptor of repentance, the Stern in punishment, the Bountiful. There is none worthy of worship save Him. Unto Him is the (eventual) return. (40:3)

And your Lord will no doubt pay back to all (the recompense of) their deeds in full; surely He is All-Aware of what they do. (11:111)

That He may pay them their rewards in full and give them more out of His Bounty; surely He is Forgiving, Appreciative. (35:30)

So Allah gave them a reward of this world and the excellent reward of the Hereafter and Allah loves those who do good deeds. (3:148)
