- Salāt al-Maghrib
- Recitation of madīh (eulogies) on Prophet Muhammad Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa Sallam
- Recitation of Simtud Durar, a kitāb of mawlid by Imām ‘Alī bin Muhammad al-Habshī
- Recitation of salāms (salutations) on Prophet Muhammad Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa Sallam
- Talk on the exalted moral character of Prophet Muhammad Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa Sallam
- Du‘ā
- ‘Ishā Salāh
- Tabarruk/nyāz (Refreshments)
- This majlis of mawlid is similar to the ones which will be held simultaneously on the same night inshā Allāh in Tarīm and Seyun (in Yemen); in Lamu, Mambrui and Mombasa (Kenya); and in Solo (Indonesia).
